A Custom Farmhouse in Fort Bend County
Build On Your Land, Custom Homes
Our customers came to us with a clear vision of what they wanted for their land in Fort Bend County: a spacious and inviting design that was fit for entertaining a growing family and hosting guests for a weekend getaway.
The layout was loosely based on our La Salle floor plan, combined with creative input from the customer and their design consultant. Elements of both rustic and contemporary design inspired the overall look and feel of the home.
The Perfect Modern Farmhouse
This farmhouse-style home features board and batten siding, brick accents, wood shutters, and stained rough-sawn columns and gables. Two large covered porches in the front and back of the property are perfect for the customer’s wish to have outdoor living space. From throwing parties to enjoying peaceful evenings on a chaise lounge reading a book, this home has outside room in all the right places.
Open-Concept Living & Formal Dining Room
Gorgeous ebony-stained double entry doors welcome guests into a spacious open concept dining room and living area. The rich dark flooring and magnificent wood beams complement the relaxing white surroundings throughout the home.
The main living area boasts oversized windows and double glass doors that bring in natural light and easy access to the outdoor living space. Custom built-in shelving and storage surround a cozy gas fireplace with a full brick face and rough sawn mantle.
A Chef's Dream Kitchen with Thoughtfully Designed Storage
The stunning kitchen features classic shaker-style cabinets with gleaming quartz countertops and a massive island for total versatility. A chef’s gas range sits in front of a white subway tile backsplash. Stainless steel appliances add the right finishing touch to this incredible kitchen that their young family will make memories in for years to come.
First-Floor Guest Suites and an Owner's Getaway
The customer wanted to provide a home away from home for friends and family that visit during holidays and vacations. On the first level, there are two guest suites with lovely views through large windows. The sizable master suite also sits on the first floor and has floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in tons of natural light. The textured olive green wall behind the master bed adds a special feeling to the room.
A Designated Study Space
Additionally, the downstairs includes a study to provide a serene and quiet place to work from home day or night.
Second Story Space for the Kids
Two upstairs bedrooms with vibrant accent walls provide comfortable accommodations for the kids to sleep and do homework, with an adjoining Jack and Jill bathroom.
A Jack-and-Jill Bathroom Offers Privacy and Comfort
In addition to the second story Jack-and-Jill, this family went all out when it comes to privacy and comfort, including four full bathrooms and two powder bathrooms in their forever home. Every bathroom is farmhouse-inspired with dark wood Kent-Moore Cabinets and bronze faucets.
A Bonus Space Featuring Both a Theater Room, Game Room, and Storage Rooms.
Two rooms were designed with growing kids in mind, allowing them their own places to relax and hang out with friends. The spaces can be rearranged to match their kids’ interests and preferences as they get older.
