A Custom Exterior
Delaney had a specific design in mind for the exterior of her home, but none of the available Canyon elevations matched. Mariah took Delaney’s inspiration photo to the Drafting department to see what they could create, and together, they were able to achieve the desired exterior.
Alternate Kitchen
When you walk into the spacious entryway of the Straley's home, the kitchen immediately captures your attention. The Alternate Kitchen boasts stunning black cabinetry that was raised to the ceilings, allowing room for floating shelves underneath. Wavy, white subway tile with dark grout stands out against the contrast of the black cabinets. The kitchen features a large, rectangular island at its center, a walk-in pantry with plenty of storage space, and tall ceilings. As you move into the dining area, you'll be struck by the incredible view out of the large windows. You'll also appreciate the easy access to the back porch, which is perfect for gathering with friends and family.
A Gathering Place
The spacious family room features a soaring cathedral ceiling, wall-sized statement windows that flood the room with natural light, lightly stained wood accents, and a full-brick-face fireplace, complete with a low-profile hearth. It is truly the perfect gathering space for the whole family. The rear covered porch features a cathedral ceiling extending from the living room, rough-sawn wood posts with brick bases, and plenty of space to gather. It's the perfect spot for hosting friends, or for simply relaxing and taking in the beauty of your surroundings.
Spacious Bedrooms
One of the reasons the Straley family chose the Canyon D floorplan was the size of the bedrooms. When you walk into the master bedroom, you are greeted by a dark green accent wall, creating a calming and restful atmosphere. This bedroom also features a spa-like bathroom, complete with herringbone floor tile, a walk-in shower, dual vanities, linen cabinets, and a huge closet, which provides ample space for all your clothing. Their son, Eli, has a large bedroom with padded, plush carpet that's perfect for a play area. With plenty of room for his toys, his crib, and his “big kid bed”, this room will grow and evolve along with him as he gets older. The guest room is equally welcoming, boasting tall ceilings, cozy furniture, and plenty of storage space.
A Study Perfect for Morning Coffee, Reading, or Working from Home
Just off the entryway and through the double glass doors is a study. The study features a cozy reading nook, a dedicated workspace, and a black accent wall, providing the perfect, relaxing environment to enjoy a coffee in the morning or work from home.
With unique customizations and statement pieces throughout, the Straley's home is a one-of-a-kind standout. If you're in the market for a new home, consider Tilson and experience the magic for yourself. We would love to work with you to bring your own dream home to life.
