Our real estate agent actually mentioned a few and Tilson was one of them. And as we were driving around, we saw a house and it was a Driftwood. And so I saw the sign and I thought, I'm going to call them, because of what we had in mind was this home. It's actually very similar to our home in California in terms of the layout. But we had a formal living room and dining room and then a family room and we wanted to combine all of that this time around.

Open floor plan, yeah.

And it worked out amazing. My name is Mark Getchel. This is my wife, Jenny Getchel, and we built a customized Driftwood in Navarro County on Richland Chambers Reservoir and we're very happy with it.

We were at the restaurant, I think the only restaurant on the lake, and I met the president of the couple of subdivisions over, a gated community, and it's called The Shores. And he asked who was building our home and I said Tilson. He goes, "Oh, I love Tilson." So he's the president of the HOA there. He says, "they're great to work with. They're just awesome." I said, "I'm glad to hear that."

Well, as a retired interior decorator, the design choices was phenomenal. And they made it really easy to make the process go smoothly and Mark and I worked really well together on the design. We wanted the same thing, which is really helpful, especially for couples, that doesn't happen too often. And it was a great experience.

It was incredibly easy. It was like, "OK, you want that." And then I was a little bit worried that this being a low-bearing wall that it would be maybe too much of an opening, but they opened it up even further than I had expected. So it was great.

Well, she pretty much said, "Whatever you want. Do you want the bigger island?" "Yes." "Would you like to customize it?"

"Yes". "Can we add more counter and more cabinets in the back to match the massive island?" Everything just went so smoothly.

I mean, we've seen the process now that we've lived here for a year and it's a quality product that is awesome. I mean, we couldn't be happier.

I have recommended Tilson. I think that five contracts have been signed from our recommendation. I constantly am in a situation being out as a chaplain and recommending Tilson.

We explain in detail. They ask us lots of questions and we share of a good experience and it's sold everybody. We were welcomed like we were part of the family and yeah, it was amazing.
