The
Breckenridge model in
Weatherfordis a very large home. It can be customized to fit families both large and small, and is designed to make entertaining easy and memorable.
Right at the entrance to the Breckenridge, there’s a formal dining room to your left, open to the foyer. It has easy access to the kitchen, which makes setting and clearing the table easy. On the other side of the foyer, there’s a powder room, coat closet, and a quiet study. The powder room is a good place for guests to freshen up when they arrive or after dinner, and is conveniently placed if you decide to use the study for a home office.
The kitchen is across an open corridor from the dining room. This kitchen has lots of cabinet space and features a large standalone counter with an eating bar. The eating bar is all one level, giving you plenty of surface area to decorate, prepare meals, and set out snacks or coffee for your guests and kids. The cozy breakfast nook at the end gives you another place to sit down to eat. Making those meals and snacks is easy, thanks to the thoughtful placement of the appliances, which include a double oven and cooktop.
The large family room is completely open to the kitchen. It’s a bright and spacious room, with a cathedral ceiling, tall windows, and over 400 square feet of space. You can see the rear covered porch through these windows, making it a great place to have chairs and tables for guests. Our Breckenridge model home, located in Weatherford, includes an optional fireplace on the room’s only open wall.
Moving down the central corridor and passed the kitchen and dining room, there’s a master suite, a large storage room, and a utility room with an entrance to the attached 2-car garage. The utility room has some counter space for easier laundry management, and has a small drop zone with a bench and many cabinets. If you add the optional second floor, the stairs replace the storage room in this area.
The second floor adds over 1,000 square feet to your home. It includes an extra bedroom with a full bathroom, a large bonus room that makes a great game room, and a home theater. If you don’t need the bedroom or have other changes in mind, let us know what you’re thinking – we’ll build it how you want it.
Back on the first floor, the master suite takes up the rest of the left side. The bedroom is quite large and has a stepped ceiling and a walk-in closet. The bathroom also has a walk-in closet, as well as an enclosed toilet, a soaking tub, and dual vanities.
A large hall branches off from the family room at the opposite side of the home, leading to two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The hall also has space for a desk, which is a great place for kids to do homework. The bathroom can easily be changed into a Jack & Jill style if you prefer.
