Join us on this special home tour to explore the thoughtful design choices the Hinojosa family made for their custom home in Gillespie County.
From the moment you approach the exterior, it's clear this isn't your typical home. Juanita and Vera set out to choose an exterior home color that commanded attention while complementing the picturesque hillside location. Working with our Spring Design Center, they customized a version of our former Palacios home plan, designing a layout highlighting their "million dollar view" as you walked through the front door. They relocated the patio to create a space that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living.
Inside, the kitchen steals the spotlight with its warm ambiance and functional layout. Juanita and Vera wanted a kitchen layout that balances openness and privacy with plenty of space for gatherings without sacrificing tranquility.
The kitchen's dark cabinets and Santa Cecilia granite countertops exude elegance, while windows flood the space with natural light and frame views of the countryside. The dining area is a picturesque setting for family meals, with expansive windows offering glimpses of wildlife and breathtaking sunsets.
In the family room, a statement fireplace features a custom mantel, and strategically placed windows invite the outdoors in.
The master suite features cathedral ceilings and abundant natural light, creating a serene retreat. The attention to detail extends to the ensuite bathroom, where thoughtful modifications ensure accessibility and convenience for years to come.
Juanita and Vera designed versatile spaces in the secondary bedrooms that effortlessly adapt to their evolving needs.
