You can’t step foot inside Grimes without recognizing and feeling the county’s historical roots. Named for Jesse Grimes, who signed the Texas Declaration of Independence, it is home to 28,082 proud patriotic Texans. A little over an hour north of Houston, it features five school districts and is home to Walker, Texas Ranger himself, Chuck Norris.
