San Jacinto County
San Jacinto has about 29,000 residents and is eighty percent forested. Sixty percent of the county incorporates the Sam Houston National Forest, and Lake Livingston lies to its east, giving easy access for lake activities and hunting. The city of Coldspring has a farming center, several historic sites, and the Wolf Creek Car Show in October.
