Trinity County
The county of Trinity has about 14,000 people and is heavily forested. It contains more than half of the Davy Crockett National Forest and lies along the Trinity River, providing residents with opportunities for fishing, hunting, and water sports. The Trinity Alps are an overlooked gem ideal for hikers, photographers, and explorers. There are four ghost towns and historic sites to visit, and multiple places for summer camps, golfing, and nightlife. The city of Groveton hosts the favored Bear Chase Marathon every April and is home to the historic Trinity County Courthouse.
