Many medium-sized cities make up the majority of Guadalupe County’s population of 188,454. Seguin is the county seat, home of Pecan Fest, ZDT’s Amusement Park, and Max Starcke Park, which avails golf, tennis, fishing, kayaking, and other outdoor recreation to visitors. Cibolo was ranked as one of the safest places to live and raise a family in Texas by multiple organizations and is a clean 40-minute commute to San Antonio. There are a number of smaller communities as well, such as Geronimo, Staples, and Kingsbury, giving the option for a quiet life with convenience and entertainment nearby.
