Along the Southern border of Lake Texoma, Grayson County is the perfect mix of wild, untamed land and small, bustling towns.  In Denison and Sherman, you can stroll down Main Street and peruse the antique shops and art galleries, sample beer at the craft breweries, or cool off at the old-fashioned ice cream parlor.  Although you are only and hour and 15 minutes from Dallas, there is plenty of natural beauty to relax in.  The Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, a haven for migratory birds, is a great place to hike, hunt, forage, fish, or picnic.
